One-Handed Application

1. Place the blue strap around the upper arm, approximately 7-10 cm proximal to the planned puncture site.
2. Feed the free end into the click-lock buckle and pull until the desired venous stasis is achieved.
3. Palpate or visualise the target vein and perform the venipuncture as normal.
4. Release the tourniquet before withdrawing the needle by pressing the release button on the buckle - the strap opens instantly with one hand.

Keep the total stasis time as short as clinically possible to avoid haemoconcentration and preserve sample integrity. The tourniquet is intended for external use only.
