Male fertility screening and ovulation testing differ
The parahealth diagnostics male fertility self-test in this selection uses a semen sample. It is a sperm concentration screen, rather than an FSH hormone test or an LH ovulation test. Choose the test according to the question you want to assess.
What the male fertility test checks
The test screens the SP-10 marker to indicate whether sperm concentration is at or above 15 million per milliliter or below that threshold. This is a qualitative threshold result, not a complete semen analysis. It does not assess every factor relevant to fertility or establish the likelihood of conception.
Read the collection requirements
Follow the exact kit's preparation, sample collection, processing and result instructions. A sperm concentration result is different from sperm motility, morphology or a hormone measurement. The instructions explain the test's limitations and when further assessment is needed.
